Technology That Supports Learning

Educational organizations manage technology across a complex environment: student devices, teacher workstations, classroom infrastructure, administrative systems, and the networks that connect them. Student data privacy adds a regulatory dimension that most IT decisions need to account for.

How We Help

Device Deployment and Management Chromebooks, tablets, and laptops deployed to students and teachers configured consistently, managed centrally, and maintained without requiring a dedicated IT staff. We handle device setup, policy enforcement, and repairs.
Network Infrastructure Educational networks must support dozens to hundreds of devices simultaneously. We design and install wireless infrastructure with the density and coverage to handle a full classroom of active devices without degrading performance.
Classroom Technology Support Interactive displays, projectors, document cameras, and audio systems kept working so instructional time is not lost to technology failures. We provide support that responds quickly because every hour of downtime in a classroom is instructional time lost.
Content Filtering Filtering solutions that block inappropriate content on student devices in compliance with CIPA requirements for schools receiving E-rate funding. We configure and maintain filtering that protects students without blocking legitimate educational resources.
Cloud Tools and Productivity Google Workspace for Education and Microsoft 365 Education configured and managed for your organization. We handle account provisioning, set up appropriate policies for student and staff accounts, and manage the platform on an ongoing basis.
Student Data Security Student records require careful handling under FERPA and applicable state privacy laws. We implement access controls, encryption, and data handling policies that protect student information and support compliance with educational privacy requirements.

Student Data Privacy

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) governs the privacy of student education records and applies to schools that receive federal funding. The Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA) requires content filtering as a condition of E-rate funding. State laws including New Mexico's Student Data Privacy Act impose additional requirements on educational technology vendors and the schools that use them.

  • FERPA-compliant access controls for student education records
  • CIPA content filtering for schools receiving E-rate funding
  • Student data agreements with third-party technology vendors
  • COPPA compliance considerations for applications used by students under 13
  • Acceptable use policies and device management aligned with school policy
